Ball St leading Central

Post by Warthog »

In the most likely game to get us the tie-breaker over Akron, Ball State is leading Central 21-17 at the end of the third quarter. :D

Ball state just stopped central on fourth down in BSU territory for the third time in the fourth quarter. 5 minutes to go....

We're going to have to get the job done ourselves. NIU beat Toledo, CMU beat Ball State......we just need to beat Toledo.

Maybe this will get us more fired up to beat TTUN.

I'm thinking the same thing. I didn't want to back into the championship game with three losses anyway. We have to go out and win it for ourselves. I like it better that way anyhow.

I like it better this way, but I would have been happy to have it any old way. Once you play in the championship game, it doesn't matter what your record was. I was hoping for having the East clinched and then beating Toledo. Oh, well. We're playing for the title on our field...you can't ask for much more than that.

My thoughts exactly. I was hoping to have the East wrapped up before Toledo (less stressful for me!!!), but this is a Championship game for us no matter how we look at it. As for playing for the title on our home field, lets hope we get back to some home cooking because we're just 1-2 at home in the MAC this year and we have lost our last two home games. :o GO BG!!!
