What do we need?

All we need is an akron loss and we're in? Is there any other ways we get in because this seems unlikely :roll:

If NIU loses to Western we're in, too.

See, another reason the FMB absolutely rocks - not only do they know their music, not only do they have the moves, not only do they understand the game, they know the complicated tie-breaker scenarios.

The matchup for the MAC championship game will be determined when Northern Illinois meets Western Michigan on Wednesday.

If the Huskies beat the Broncos, the Zips will face Northern Illinois in the championship based on their 24-14 victory over Bowling Green on Oct. 29.

If Western Michigan wins, the Falcons will take on the Rockets in the final because Bowling Green's opponents from the West Division would have a better conference winning percentage than Akron's crossover opponents.

The RedHawks can't advance to the conference championship game because they lose tiebreakers to the Falcons and Zips.

I can only hope and pray we someway, somehow get some help, but I'm not feeling good about our chances. I think WMU has a better shot than Kent State does though. Man I wish we could have just won this game tonight and sealed it with a win over UT. I guess we'll just have to wait and see....

I would have preferred to control our own destiny (like we clinched the East way before this by say, not losing to Akron or WMU or UT.)

I too am not feeling too good about our chances. Strager things have happened though, like tonight for instance! Or this entire season...

Western is possibly the best team in the MAC right now, so I wouldn't count them out.
