AZZ...

Post by MiamiBando »

I was at the Goggin for the BG-Miami Hockey game this past weekend. One of my friends is an RA at BG. He taught me the hand motions to AZZ. I didn't even KNOW there were hand motions!

But it is pretty kick @ss!

Who ever came up with those hand motions needs a good pat on the back!

And to tie it in... he said that Miami's Fight song was incredibly annoying. He couldn't get it out of his head, and thought it was hilarious when a bunch of students and old alums sang the "Dirty Words."

I still like Forward, Falcons. Classy. But Love and Honor is it for me.

There's hand motions, watch the cheerleaders when it's played.

No one does the motions other than them though...

Oh, I've seen some of the crowd do the motions before. I still want to learn them myself, but it's difficult to do when you're one of the people playing the song every time. :P

They didn't teach us the motions when I went to O-Reg.

But I know them anyway. They're not difficult.

Well, for one, we didn't get snazzy BGX t-shirts. Although, I don't think I'd want a shirt that pretty much screamed "Freshman right here!!!" As if I didn't look bewildered enough my first year at BG- no need to draw attention to my naivete.

Edit: Or wait, do they get the shirts when they move into the dorms in August? I don't remember these things... my O-Reg (and Flicc's and Fan07's) was a long time ago. Honestly, all I remember from it is that I met and chilled with Honeycutt, and I stayed in Offenhauer.

the whole BGX thing wasn't even around when we went thru it... all we had to do was the one day of orientation stuff and register the following day.
