Season Ticket Sales

Post by Salsa »

Does anyone know or can we find out how many season ticket sales we had for this season and how that compares to season ticket sales for last season?

If we can find out these two numbers, it could give us an indication of fan interest. I can't remember a season prior to this one where there was so much hype--Omar, schedule, championship hopes, etc. There should have been a significant increase in season ticket sales.

If there was very little difference between 2004 and 2005 season ticket sales, then I'd say we have a long, long way to go in building fan support for our program.

My guess is call the BGSU ticket office, they should certainly know the figures.

Salsa has a good point guys. If 2005 season tix sales didn't rise much after all the Omar hype and what we had coming back roster wise , then that is cause for serious concern I think , not panic, just concern.

In the grand scheme of things, how much difference would it make if you , I or virtually anyone else on this board made the leap from "concerned" to "panicked"?

I hope they bring back General Admission tickets next year. I think that it hurt sales, especially in the ut game. I have friends that couldn't pay that game price. Had they had GM tix, they would have come. It was a matter of finances and nothing else. They are big Falcon fans and are at most home games.

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
