No, what you will see is the construction of a facility...hence the use of the phrase "fantasy become reality".....the use of the word become connotes a process, que?

I'm sorry if they aren't building the thing quickly enough for you.

No, on second thought, I'm not.

I have no expectation of this thing being done in 11 months to a year. Sure it be nice no awesome to have this thing done by next fall , but I know thats not possible unless we are planning to hire 5,000 illegals to rush build this thing in 8 months.

Umm, I think it has been well publicized that the completion date is Winter 2007. Maybe if you would have been at the football game Tuesday you would have noticed that.

And you shouldn't have these expectations. The project finish date is currently set for around January/Febuary 2007 (12-14mo). Everthing may not be finished, there might still be things to be completed but the building will be up and functional. The SEBO center not being completed by fall 2006 will not have an impact on Student-athletes who will very likely be here for 5 years. They will still get plenty of usage out of the building. I don't think the Union was completed on time, and look how awesome it came out. I'm sure you've been there FB, you don't have to pay to get in. The University didn't see a drop in enrollement b/c we didn't have a student union, and the Sebo not being done won't hurt recruitment. All you need to do is walk the kid out there, show them the trucks, the big hole and cement walls, then follow it up with artist pictures and a BTW this will be here for 3/4 years of your 5. They will walk away impressed.

Yeah, I was one of the lucky freshmen that had a union for like 1 semester my freshman year and 1 my senior year :(

Too bad, because the new union is pretty sweet, although they shoulda put in a bowling alley :)

Don't be surprised if Sebo puts the rest of the money up to get the thing finished.

I would say that he has put up more than his share. ANd thanks to him for it. I would rather it be built down the road and it be a complete solid draw for recruits than it be built quickly and just be a shell of what it could be.

Then again Brandon may have this team as a shell of what it recently was if he gets more time.
