they started BGX when i got here, summer 03. they sent out postcards asking us if we wanted to do it, then we had to take a small group class for it...it was lame. i'm glad it wasn't mandatory for us. the following year though, they made it mandatory for all incoming freshmen...

Actually it was only mandatory if you were in the honors program or in a livign community. It became mandatory for all freshmen this year, aout 05

I am glad they teach Ay Zig at orientation. I hope they start putting as much effort into teaching the actual fight song, foreward falcons, and the alma mater. Our student should know all three songs. But, this is a great start...

not to mention the freshmen for the past 2 years have had the wonderful opportunity of watching the "Focus On Campus Life" video that i edited for them...
