Colin Cowherd said he's moving OSU to the SEC because their fans whine about everything like the SEC fans do.

I figured they'd want to move to the PAC-10, so they can have the "west coast bias" to gripe about, too.

i'm not whining. i am stating a fact.

for your information I love the fact everyone hates Ohio State, makes it that much better when they beat the piss out of UM, or Miami, when they win Big ten titles, or when everything you morons say about em blows up in your faces and they keep on winning.

OSU 38 ND 14
OSU 30 Va Tech 14

whatever the matchups end up being..those are how the scores will look.

Texas will win national title...

Omar will be a #1 draft pick Miami and Detroit will be looking for Leinart whichever loses Leinart (most likely Miami) will get Omar. Both need QB's both need em bad, both will need to get em early.

Finally...next years MAC Champs...i pick WMU

I peaced out of this thread yesterday (because personal attack arguments are lamer than leg-warmers), but I just can't resist (and I don't think this is a personal attack - more of an observation):

Teke lives in a world where opinions are facts, facts are opinions, and dogs and cats procreate with each other.

This thread is really, REALLY funny to sit back and watch. Keep it up my one-nutted friend! I'm enjoyin' this! :D

I was over the UM game by the time I was at the hockey game that night, but I'm still not over the toledo game. The fact that you're still dwelling on the OSU-UM game and haven't said word one about the toledo game lets me know where both our priorities as fans are. I think most of us wonder why you even post on this board.

Do you have any evidence or quotes from any of the random media members you've mentioned that would back up these lame ideas? Or are you still just making things up? Jack Arute's a freakin' sideline reporter. How the hell would he say anything negative about OSU when he's just interviewing coaches and getting injury updates. Jack Arute has never been bias towards anything on the air, but thanks for throwing that name in there for fun.

I notice you didn't say anything about all of your bogus predictions. Convenient.

My post of the link was for humor only. That particular forum only has two buckets, and the ones you link don't have as many choices as AZZ (they assume people know you talk about other schools). There's no harm in giving ideas what to post or the creation of a forum just for other schools. All of the forums here have plenty of activity, even if it's just to complain about it being there!

My prediction that the Bengals were going to win the division? Yea that looks pretty good dont ya think? Pittsburgh blows.

I have heard interviews with jack..he never seems to excited to talk about OSU, he is musberger's anal friend. he loves it when OSU loses, thats the only time he sounds excited to talk about them.

as far as the Toledo game..what do you want me to say? We lost. We played well enough to win, but we didnt. Its a failure. I predicted we would win.home team hasnt lost in almost a decade. we blew it. season is over. it happens.

crap happens all the time. Pittsburgh beat Cincy first time around..crap happens. Cincy gets em back Sunday. Michigan hasn't sunk into the earth yet, crap happens, maybe they will in a few years. maybe one of these days you guys will realize that I do this because it irks the hell out of you and if you'd learn to take it lightly instead of getting pissed then I would stop but crap happens and you guys never learn.

It's amazing how pissed you guys get. I thought most of you were mature college grads. but you cry like 13 year old girls when something or someone doesnt go your way. I dont care you guys hate OSU, I tease you about it cos it pisses you off. guess you can't take it, so quit bringing it up...

if YOU GUYS DIDNT TALK ABOUT OSU SO MUCH then I wouldn't. There was a post on here everyday for two months about OSU before i started posting on this site. but then you complain when I do? that makes you hypocrits. typical i guess for closed minded people who find it impossible for people who are not affiliated with a school to root for those football teams.

I guess the millions of people who graduate from div 1-AA, 2 and 3 and NAIA or whatever the hell it is should only root for those schools too> even though they dont compete on a major level?

Guess they can't root for whoever they want just for whoever the people from AZZ tells them too

Guess what I am trying to say is quit bellyaching, suck it up and take the teasing if your gonna continue to talk OSU so much. When it stops I will stop.

Teke, I don't know if you realize it or not, but this is probably one of the most immature things you can possibly say. You say that people can't "handle" your talking about the Aggies, but the fact of the matter is that people can. What is perplexing to the community here is why this has become the ONLY thing you ever post about anymore. If you want to talk about it every now and then in the "Other School's" forum, great! But, when you contribute nothing else of substance (that I have seen in at least a few weeks, forgive me if I've missed something), then you have simply become a troll, and no one likes a troll.

Back to the maturity issue. Think of it this way: part of growing up and maturing for all of us (at a very elemental level) is learning not to poop in our pants and use a toilet by a culturally acceptable age. Why? Because our community and the cultural norms that guide it decided at some point long, long ago that it wasn't too much fun to walk around smelling people's festering poop in their pants, so we condition children to poop in a toilet and not their pants.*

It is clear based on the reaction you have found (and apparently get off on) that the majority (not all - Lyons, I'm looking at you) of this community have decided that they don't want to hear about the Aggies day in and day out on a BGSU message board, unless (and this may be what you were referring to prior to the comencement of your posting on this site) it directly relates to BGSU. The mature thing to do in this situation would be to respect the wishes of this community and only discuss the Aggies when it is appropriate and in a non-abrasive manner when you do (which you are capable of). The immature thing to do would be to do exactly what you are doing.

To draw this out a little further, and hopefully to a somewhat acceptable conclusion, you don't necessarily have to be happy about conforming to the dominant norms of this site. We all make sacrifices in the name of maturity during our adult lives. I, for instance, am never too happy about having to wear pants, but I realize that society does not want to see my pasty fat ass walking down the street, so I usually make that sacrifice.

A better example of this type of reluctant conformity may be Civil War-era Democrats who were prominent supporters of festering poop and entirely opposed to the introduction of the toilet into American architecture. After losing the election of 1864 handily, the Democrats continued to try and fight the good fight for festering poop for over a decade, but, rendered largely impotent by Radical Republicans and newly enfranchised freedmen, it became clear that the Democrats were fighting a hopeless fight. During the election of 1877, Democratic leaders agreed behind closed doors to drop their pro-poop platform if Republicans would agree to remove occupation forces from former Confederate states. Why did they do this? They did it because they matured and realized that, at least at that time, society would never support festering poop and that there was no sense in committing political suicide over such a frivolous luxury.^

* - As an historian, the best evidence I have seen indicates that this cultural decision was made sometime in 1863, and was probably an overlooked sub-effect of the Emancipation Proclomation. Evidence is still sketchy, but it is likely no small coincidence that Abraham Lincoln and his Secretary of War, Elihu Root, were not very fond of festering poop. It is likely that this decision was made so covertly (if in fact this is true) because contemporary Democrats, with George McClellan as their leader, are clearly on record as having not only been in favor of festering poop, but its continued promulgation, as well.

^ - For many reasons, popular historians have almost entirely written this fierce political battle out of history books. The most obvious reason that this is the case is that the vast majority of historians align themselves politically with Civil War-era Democrats, and they do not want their political views associated with a pro-poop agenda. What historians will not tell you is that they, and those who claim allegiance to Civil War-era Democratic ideals, all still to this day anxiously await the time when society will once again find festering poop and all of its vestiges acceptable once again. I am studying to be an historian, but because I intend to be an evil historian, I have no problem telling you the truth. Don't get me wrong, I still maintain some Civil War-era Democratic beliefs, largely because if I did not I would be ritually killed by my peers in a seminar were they ever to find out that I did not; however, I staunchly associate my political outlook with the Copperheads, who were in fact the small minority of the Civil War-era Democratic party that was anti-poop. Most of these people were killed in backalleys and forests after the war by the Ku Klux Klan.

Only, and I mean ONLY on AZZ could a thread on the Fiesta Bowl turn into a discussion of poop and the history of the toilet. Which I found very interesting, Matt, thank you.

So to sum it up for the day. We should be anti- poop, wear pants, though not with poop in them. And OSU and its supporters are full of poop when they crap on our site. How did I do?
