MACC game

Post by MACMAN »

Well I must admit. I was not expecting to still be watchng this game. I figured NIU would have 21 pts by the end of the 1st. But Akron is on top 3 zip...lol.
Akrons D is doing a great job and now a blocked FG!!!
The ZIPS are ready for this game.

and oh yea, I dont know how our D would have played, but our O would have been tearing up NIU. Their D is real soft on the passes and run...they are having trouble geting thier d in sync

I don't know who the heck to pull for in this game (and like a car wreck, I can't help but watch it). If Akron wins, at least to some SMALL degree, it justifies our loss to them. At the same time, I have kind of felt bad for NIU and their conference title drought (especailly since we screwed them out of a chance last year), and I'd like to see them pull it out finally.

As much as I hate to see BG not playing in this game, I am strangely finding myself over it. Still, I don't know who to pull for. Help?

Not to keep agreeing with everyone, but I was just thinking the very same thing.

Maybe there really is something to the J.D. Brookhart thing...

This is a good game....I just wish we were playing in it. I'm pulling for NIU because I think they'll represent the MAC better, but I also want Akron to win because I took some classes there before attending BG and my brother went there. But whoever wins this game will have earned their MAC title and trip to the Motor City Bowl, that's for sure.
GO BG!!!
