....and I am not sure, but I think Tommy tried to goose me when he walked by me during the game!!

Why you ragging on this? People complain that the marketing department hasn't done anything for years and when they start creating some family type atmospheres the sarcasm rolls.

I don't think the sarcasm was from the family atmosphere, I think it was more aimed at this curious quote from coach Paluch:

"I thought Tommy and Sylvester did a great job out there tonight, they brought alot of enthusiasm in the first and second intermission. However, there were some times in the third period where we had kids that were getting cranky and could have used some cheering up, and they just didn't bring it. They'll have to work on that a little bit, I think."

Strange, isn't it?

The team looked VERY good Saturday night. Much better than they did in the last game I made it to earlier in the season. I echo all the comments here, Svendson played a real strong game. I thought he was one of our best players out there. Matsumoto played a strong game as well.

Spratt looked much better than he did in earlier games I saw as well. Good to see him getting more comfortable back there. They say this kid's got tons of talent, hopefully he'll continue to develop.

The most encouraging thing about the game to me was the 3rd period. We came out of the locker room with a 1 goal lead and DOMINATED. MSU only managed 5 shots on goal in the final period where they were down 1 at the start and down 2 for more than half of it. That was the best period of hockey I've seen BG play this year for sure.

The Tommy & Sylvester thing was goofy to me, but I'm sure the kids liked it, so I keep it coming. Keep the kids interested in BG sports, no matter what it takes.

We will be there for all the home games now! Something a lot of people don't realize is that marching band, athletic band, etc. are actual classes we have to sign up for and put on our schedules. A-band is a spring semester class and if it started any earlier, there would be a lot of problems with people showing up because of other commitments.

Man I was getting worried we might get another win for quite a while. :? The team's got a ton of clawing to do to get back .500. How good is Clarkson and St. Lawrence?

St. Lawrence is very beatable. They like an up-tempo game and take a ton of shots, but they also give up a lot of shots.

T.J. Trevelyan is flat out nasty. Kyle Rank played well, too. Their goaltending didn't impress.

We lost to them 4-2 (ENG) last Friday, but there wasn't really any point where they outplayed us. Credit to the Saints for hanging tough when down 2-0 at the end of one. We didn't play Clarkson, so I can't tell you anything about them.
