Is this the first time a I-A team has lost two consecutive games to I-AA teams? Last week they lost to Eastern IL 31-28, and today to Idaho 45-41. As much as I love seeing these good, competitive MAC teams, as long as Buffalo, Eastern MI, Kent, Akron, etc. are around, there's no chance the MAC will get any sort of respect. Might as well be the Big East! Thats all for now, Jeff
Idaho is a I-A team in the Sun Belt Conference, but I agree with the lesser degree of respect due to the bottom 9 teams in the MAC. We have some good teams, but many terrible teams this year.bgmaggot00 wrote:Is this the first time a I-A team has lost two consecutive games to I-AA teams? EMU losing to Idaho is the most embarrasing game for the MAC to date in my opinion. Idaho had scored a total of maybe 35 all year. I really thought that they were the worst team in college football, but I see that I was wrong. That unfortunately belongs to a MAC team. If I were an EMU fan coming home for homecoming yesterday, I really would be very upset. But hey, let's all look on the bright side, the Mighty Falcons got back on the winning track in a big way, and that is all that matters. We don't have the problems to worry about that EMU fans have to worry about. So I guess life is good.
It is a shame, they seemed like they had the game in-hand before The Spuds rolled past them.
EMU may be more deeply flawed than I expected. I still think they are on the right track, or at least that their coach knows where to direct them.

Not so fast my friend!TG1996 wrote:wow 45-41... they better leave that defense at home Oct. 30.
Unfortunately for them, CMU's win and WMU's off week probably leaves them alone in ESPN's Bottom 10.
Last weeks 'directional michigan' didnt spare Central durring their off week. Even said they dissapointed against bye. That is just down right mean. i will feel bad that they dont have buffalo to keep them company, but I will bet you anythign that UCF is there for losing to the Bulls. if not #1, they will be top(bottom) 5 for sure. i wanna say they will put osu there too for losing to NW, which will make me happy for a week while I look at it everyday just to laugh at the ohio state hairless nuts some more.
