BG vs. Duquesne
Game tonight at 7 pm at AA. This is your last chance to catch these ladies for a month. If you want to get in for the ride this year, this is your best chance. The Dukes beat us last year, and I think this team will be looking to make another statement tonight.
Duquesne is a tough team, and has played some good teams so far. An interesting note -- Marisa "The Ring" Smith will be coming back to BG tonight. She sat out last year after transferring from BG to Duquesne, and will be playing in AA once again.
This is the only home game in a nine game stretch for this team, and they deserve to come home to a good crowd tonight. They've earned it.

Yeah folks get your butts in seats tonight. We need a good crowd, Duquesne is also a very good team, no pushovers like Urbana or Notre Dame(OH) for the men. :-\

Believe me it's killing me not to be there too. I'm in desperate need for powerhouse BG team, and I'm upset that I can't go to many games if any at all. Could you hook me up with the link to watch it on gametracker if you get a chance? I know it's probably on here somewhere, so I'll do some looking too! Thanks!
I see your Swartz is as big as mine!
Either the schedule page at bgsufalcons.com should have it, or go through collegesports.com (through the Women's BB page)BourbonFalcon wrote:Believe me it's killing me not to be there too. Yeah, they are up by 31 now. 4 players already in double digits scoring. UK is up by about 20 right now too. Really shaping up to be a good game in a couple of weeks, though UK needs to survive this week. They still play 2 more games before sunday.TG1996 wrote:56-28 with 11+ left??? These ladies are good.

We absolutely did dominate. The defense played great in the second half. The Dukes missed a bunch of open looks, but then again, we missed some bunnies too and still blew them out. We just beat a very good team -- Duquesne might be as good as Indiana.
The crowd was good for a ladies game. Good energy.
The youngstaz look very good also. The freshman and sophomores were the ones who extended the lead late in the game against a lot of Duquesne's regulars. Watching this game would have to make anybody feel very good about this program. Too bad they won't be back in AA for a month.
