Ahem. How do I get a job with city?hammb wrote:When I worked for the city we had a real bad woodchuck problem at the Cemetery (yes the one by the campus). By bad I mean woodchucks were known to bring up the bones from some of the older wooden (now rotten, obviously) caskets.
Our method of getting rid of these was to find the multiple holes from the tunnel, and flood it. When they came out for air we'd nail 'em with a stick. Think a real life version of whack-a-mole. It worked surprisingly well!

Carl Spackler would say PETA people be damned. Don't waste your time with water, head straight for the dynamite.

Sure it worked, But tell me, where the fun in just whacking the vermit. I tell you it's no fun unless there are lots of pieces and big holes in the ground. I mean all the extreme sportsman will tell you to go big. Don't bother with hook and line for fish, dynamite the lake. If hunting rabit, pull out you assualt rifle.hammb wrote:

Believe it or not, we're here (not PETA people, but people who think that hammb and some of you others are VERY sick).hamjunior wrote:This is when we find out if there are any PETA people on this board.hammb wrote:When I worked for the city we had a real bad woodchuck problem at the Cemetery (yes the one by the campus). Omar's stock is dropping, both due to some uneven performance (Boise being the worse) and injury. So the question is will his stock continue to drop next year since he is losing a great supporting staff (Pope, Lane, Sharon, and Sanders). Would he be better off going now and hoping to catch on with a team or returning to BG with an young and untested support staff.rocketfootball wrote:Too many question marks right now because of his injury. It would be a different story if he was able to play in the Senior Bowl, or another all-star game, and show himself off.
He will most likely be back next year.
Personally - I hope he stays and gets the additional playing time.
BTW -RF - Isn't it considered Child Abuse to dress an infant in Rocket gear? All joking aside - cute boy.

We had to get rid of 'em someway, and they wouldn't give us guns.

MACMAN
no that is a video of a guy shooting a prarie dog. But the good news is with deer gun season now over vermin and fur bearers are back on, as well as my #1 favorite pheasants. Dogs, gun and good eats! there is however something enticing about droping a coyote at 300 yard with a gun that can put three rounds on to a dime at that distance
A real red spray day.
Personally I have realy been leaning the same way you are Tech 83. the only way i realy see him leaving is if one or two teams say WE WANT YOU! that however does not seem to be the case, or has not been leaked yet.
Besides one more year of game exp, esp with whom we are playing next year should only help raise his stock. the D should have no excuess next year with having had a whole season with the new D cord, to work the quarks out, which is what I feel we had this year. the O wont be changing, and actually the O could and should grow with seveal added packages if Omar stays to take better advantage of his arm....how many more guys can we spead out...1, 2, 3, 4... hell lets put 9 out there and work the mismatches of the DT and WR;s lol

Not sure how every all-star game works, but he could be invited to one. Ryan Moats was invited last year to the East/West Game last year as a junior, and Omar would be on the short list of a juniors that got an invite. I assume that based on the name, no one but a senior would be eligible for the "Senior Bowl" though.
outta here....
