OK, so my predictions were a bit off, but ...

Post by 1987alum »

My oh my what a sweet day. How best to describe it? Well, I asked Noah what he thought early in the third quarter. His response summed it up: "This is the greatest football game I've ever seen."

Pick it apart tomorrow, but today savor an incredible performance.

Omar was unbelievable, the receivers were deadly, Pope was a wrecking ball, the defense flew to the ball.

The back up QBs looked good, Stover ran with authority and Pete Winovich actually played some offense (he was also a missile on defense).

Nystrom, Perry and Suisham all scored huge, huge points in Smithville by taking the time to come over and shake hands with Noah after the game. Met Mom & Dad Nystrom - real great folks!

BTW, Noah is now 3-0 at BG games! The streak will be on the line when Western Michigan rolls into BG!

I have played bball with Drew at the rec before and must say he is a cool guy. He probably gets it from his parents if they are the same way as you mentioned. Before I got here, I always figured all the athletes would be stuck up and unsocial but for me it has been the opposite. Most of them are friendly and talk-a-tive. As a fan, it's always fun to talk to the people you see on the fields, courts, ice, etc.

'87,

I am so happy for you and Noah! I was telling Mrs. Freak waiting in line at the Blue Streak at Cedar Point how we often take going to BG games for granted. I told her how you guys would be lucky to attend 2 games a year.
I'll bet you were just having the time of your lives!

70 freakin points.....RIGHT ON!!!!!

Josh and I are heading up to Mt Not So Pleasant Friday night.

GO FALCONS!!!

Freak I know how hard it is not to be able to go to the games. After a season and a half in Colo. and now having to work every Sat. Add to that there is no way to listen to the game in Cincinnati. The SEMU game is going to be the only game I get to this year.
