That article is dead-on. You can't have people with such biases involving in selecting who plays for the national title and who gets the other big-money bowls.

Solich must have some real head problems beyond that one incident. If I was a recruiter for another school, I would show a recruit considering OU his ballot along with the final score of the LSU/Georgia game, and then ask the kid how he could ever consider playing for someone that blatantly stupid.

sadly we didn't actually need anyone to point it out...bias in the coaches poll was kind of a given. maybe they should get the nfl coaches to vote? i wonder how that would change things around.

i would not call his vote stupid at all. It serves as further proof that no matter who votes, or how many computers tally, or how many voters vote there is NOT a championship in D1, will never be a champion in D1 untill games are decieded by teams on the field. untill then we are all left speculation and questions.
