MS night at BG

Post by falcons86 »

Just curious, does anyone know how much they raised the night of the MS fundraiser? Also, does anyone know how much Jordan's sweater went for?

Thanks!

Sorry, :( forgot to post the total!! We raised $2924.89 total that night. A generous fan bought the following items of Jordan's for the "BUY IT NOW" prices: Providence Autographed Jersey $900, Autographed Stick $200, Framed signed Picture $150. Another generous fan bought his BG blocker for $500. The rest was raised through the other silent auction items that raised from $20 to $100 each, along with money collected in the clear donor boxes and from the bands and pins. Fantastic total for the night!! THANKS TO ALL BG FANS FOR THEIR SUPPORT!!!! :supz:
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Did the lady that had the picture broken in her hands by the puck get a new piece of glass or was she responsible for it? Just curious. That had to have been a heck of a suprise for her.

She had just won that picture of Jordan in the silent auction and she thought it was a riot that it happened....that Jordan made another "save" right there in the BG ice arena!! She said she is going to get a new frame and save the back of the old one since it has the black mark from the puck!! She also said she was hit by a puck (in the face) a week earlier!!!! .....wow, talk about bad puck luck!!!!
