Now I'm not gonna disagree with that O&B, but I wonder if this will carry over to football season. Will we be more conscious about not playing a home game at the same time that the OSU will be playing?

If they're smart they'll do everything they can think of to get attendance up. If that includes moving to accomodate all the OSU-first pansies then so be it. Unfortunately, the billboards (which were a great idea) didn't do much to help attendance. I am clueless as to how to get the community to turn out for BG athletics anymore.

I guess you have to draw the line somewhere. First, game times for OSU games are often not announced until a couple of weeks before the game, so that makes it challenging. I just think in this case, with a Super Bowl like atmosphere around that game, that it will help attendance.
We should also never schedule any sporting event during the OSU-UM game--ever. The Urbana game should have been moved as well.
I guess I don't object to scheduling around this game (especially for one hour), but don't expect to see it carried out more widely during football season.

I know the billboard that was on my way home from work (on 25 just south of 582) was actually down after our first couple home games. The billboard at the corner of my street & 25 has been a University of Toledo board for about 2-3 months now...it's been very difficult to not vanadlize it over this time.Jacobs4Heisman wrote:Warthog wrote:Now I not gonna disagree with that O&B, but I wonder if this will carry over to football season.
