While in this country, we will never have…natural white Christmas or that cold of winter, some days it does get chilly and your body just sort of craves for some comfort eating and drinking. This fact is more reiterated that it’s Christmas season. Now while you might think when I say hot chocolate….of the likes of Milo or Ovaltine (do they even make that anymore) and those Cadbury hot chocolate mixes, no…this is not those types. This is making it from scratch and you can add to it all sorts of fancy to it like spices, booze, whipped cream or even certain liqueurs.

When I was shooting this, I do have images of crisp autumn in my mind and thought how nice it would be if one day I could sit in a wide field of fallen amber leaves enjoying this glass of goodness. Christmas is coming soon, and I have been planning for a small family feast. To all that’s celebrating, may your holidays be as warm and your days be as happy.

I am submitting this to the “Baby Sumo’s Christmas
Recipes Collection 2013″
event which is hosted by Baby Sumo of Eat Your Heart Out.
