Falade Emerges From Makarfi’s PDP, SDP Alliance In Osun

Honorable Michael Ajibade Falade has emerged as the candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the forthcoming Osun West Senatorial election following the party’s alliance with the Makarfi-led Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)  in Osun State.
A former member of House of Representatives on the platform of Alliance for Democracy, Falade was the former Chairman, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola’s governorship Campaign Committee.
Addressing newsmen in Osogbo Thursday, Falade noted that the Ahmed Makarfi’s faction of the PDP in Osun state has tentatively moved to the SDP as permitted by the national Secretariat of the PDP.
Falade was a former member of the House of Representatives between 2007 till 2011 who represented Ede North/Ede South/Egbedore/Ejigbo federal constituency under the PDP.

Falade said he was ready to contest the election, assuring that he has everything it takes to win the election.

“I have the required experience as former member of the House of Representatives. The National Assembly is a place where experience counts a lot.
“I know what is going on in the four local governments I have represented. It is going to be serious business. We are going to put in everything possible to win the election.”
