The ‘Ogo Yoruba’ crooner will be awarded and crowned at the AGOMPAAN (All Gospel Great Minds and Performing Artistes Association of Nigeria) organized annual concert and awards day.
The elaborate event will hold on Sunday, 13 August, 2017, at Nasman Hotel And Suites, opposite Chrisland College by Church Bus-stop, Ejigbo road, Idimu, Lagos.
Apart from Red Button, many top acts have been billed to perform, including Lanre Teriba Atorise and olabanji Omoyeye Baba Dugbe among others.
Odun Olosan’s new wave making Yoruba hip-hop album, ‘Ogo Yoruba’, hip-hop music in Yoruba language is his third album following his debut, ‘New Step’ and ‘Reminder’ respectively.
The six-track album, according to him, is aimed at reaching out to the youth since hip- hop genre has become a more relevant medium to pass life changing and altitude tilting messages to them.
He noted that he also intended to use the album to promote Yoruba language, tradition and values among the youth.
Olosan, who hails from Abeokuta, Ogun State, began a career in music professionally thirteen years ago and appreciates Saheed Osupa as he looks forward to having a duet with him.
