Your Husband Has Slept With Me Several Times – 7-Year old Girl Tells Housewife
The cat was led out of the bag when she told his wife that her husband had been sleeping with her.
The little girl was also said to have told her parents and the man’s wife that her husband had slept with her several times and that she had lost count of the number of times he raped her when his wife was not around.
She said the incident sex romp had been taking place at Ikotun area of Lagos where the suspect, Ajayi, resides with the victim’s parents.
The under-aged girl revealed that after engaging her in the sex romps, he warned her not to tell anybody about what happened before her parents discovered that he had lost her virginity.
Following the revelation the suspect, Taiwo Ajayi, was arrested and detained by the police at Ikotun Division for interrogation.
Our correspondent gathered that during interrogation, the suspect denied until the 7-year old victim was brought before him at the police station and she narrated the particular periods he usually came back and raped her when her parents were not around.
The police found Ajayi culpable and charged him before the Ogba Magistrates court for defilement.
The prosecutor, Mr. Christopher John, told the court that it was a case of defilement and hence needed DPP advice.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mr. Peter Nwaka, denied him bail and did not take his plea.
The court also ordered him to be remanded in prison custody and directed the prosecutor to send his file to DPP for advice.
The matter was adjourned till 30th November, 2018, for report of DPP to be ready and the matter may be transferred to the High Court over jurisdiction.
