90% Of Osun Votes Will Go To Buhari- Group
No fewer than 90% of electorate in Osun State will vote for President Muhammadu Buhari, the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC in the forthcoming elections.
A group of campaign volunteers namely: ‘Truth Be Told Nigeria’ said in Osogbo Saturday that survey had shown that President Buhari would win by landslide in the presidential election in the state.
Speaking with newsmen during campaign held across major streets by the group in Osogbo, Osun state capital the Coordinator, Kikiowo Ileowo, said the street campaign would be a continuous exercise until few days to poll.
He added that many youth-oriented programmes of Buhari administration has helped members of the group to rally more people behind the re-election bid of President Buhari.
Kikiowo said, ” Truth Be Told is self sponsored group of campaign volunteers spreading the news of good deeds of President Buhari and the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo to all parts of Osun state.
“The group has mainly youth. Lagos/Ibadan rail line will soon be opened for use. Work will also begin on Ibadan to Kano, over 500,000 youths were recruited through Npower. One million youth will be recruited into the scheme if Buhari is reelected, Tradermoni initiative is also helping people to improve their businesses.
“PDP is not campaigning because there is nothing to campaign with. But we are convinced that if Buhari is given another four years, youth will be the biggest beneficiaries of his well planned programmes designed to better the lot of Nigerians.
“With the survey we carried out and from what we have observed, President Buhari will win about 90% of votes from Osun here.
