Petty Trader Wins Brand New Car In Dangote Cement Promo
A petty trader, Alhaja Nimota Adetoro from Ikirun, Ifelodun local government area of Osun State Tuesday emerged the star prize winner of a brand new Toyota car in the on-going multi-billion Naira Dangote Cement National Consumer Promotion, tagged: “Bag of Goodies”, just as many others went home with other gift items.
Alhaja Adetoro who had just recovered from the dubious act of land grabbers was full of surprises as the management of Dangote Cement officially presented a brand new Toyota car to her amid ecstasy by her other colleagues and family members and friends.
Making the car presentation at Mandela Freedom park, Osogbo, the Group Managing Director, Dangote Cement, Mr Joseph Makanju said that the promotion is in line with the philanthropic gesture of the Executive Director, Aliko Dangote essentially to motivate consumers at grassroot.
Makanju insisted that Dangote Cement remained a unique product today and has knocked out its contemporaries by virtue of its quality, variations, marketing strategy availability among others adding that the company will not relent but continue to fashion new strategies that would retain the company on top.
Also speaking, the Marketing Manager, Mrs Funmi Saani said the National Consumer Promotion was designed to appreciate consumers whom he referred to as the priority of the Company.
“Consumers are our priority because without you, we are nothing, hence we have made sure that the quality of our products remained superb, our service is perfect”
She enjoyed consumers to insist on getting their scratch card immediately the bag of cement they bought are opened adding that no fewer than 43 cars,  400 television sets, 350 refrigerators among numerous items are still available to be won by consumers.
Speaking, the star winner, Alhaja Nimota Adetoro commended the transparency of the management of Dangote Cement adding that by virtue of her level of exposure, status, education, it would have been easy to manipulate her and compensate her with less expensive items that she would have yet appreciated.
Among those who went home with television sets were Akanbi Idowu, Akeem Abideen and scores of consumers who went home with other valuable items.
