Umahi Inspects Banks, Restaurants, Hotels, Shut Down Ebonyi Borders Over Coronavirus

The Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr David Nweze Umahi on Thursday, inspected all the various financial institutions (Banks), Restaurants and Hotels within the capital city of the state to sensitize them on preventives measure will help fight against the spread of Corona Virus and Lassa fever.
The Governor warns all the financial institutions, Restaurants and Hotels within the State to follow and maintain good hygienes by providing sanitizers, thermometers and other kits which will help in fighting and preventing the spread of Coronavirus and Lassa fever.
He noted that from Saturday, the 28th of March, all the entrances in the state will be closed down; and there will be no movement of vehicles with passengers coming in and going out of the State.
He said, the only vehicles to be exempted from this directive are those on essential services such as vehicles carrying foodstuff, drugs, oil, petroleum and gas as well as construction materials and the drivers of the vehicle are not allowed to carry passengers.
