Nigeria’s Coronavirus Cases Rise By 245, Total Now 2802
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Monday confirmed a total number of new 245 coronavirus cases in the country and also a total of six deaths in the last 24 hours.
The spread of the virus further intensified in Jigawa state as the state recorded 32 new states.
Kano recorded 23 new cases while Abuja has 19 new cases, NCDC also announced 18 new cases in Borno.
Edo recorded ten new cases, while Bauchi had nine new cases.
Adamawa recorded six new cases while Oyo and Ogun had five new cases each.
Ekiti, Osun, Benue, Niger and Zamfara all recorded one case each.
In total, Nigeria has now confirmed 2802 cases of COVID19, discharged 417 persons, while 93 persons have died.
