Anambra Will Win Under My Watch – Soludo
The newly sworn in Governor of Anambra State, Charles Soludo, has assured residents that he is ready to deliver on his campaign promises, saying the state would “win” under his watch.
Soludo gave the assurance while delivering his inaugural speech on Thursday.
Soludo had minutes earlier taken his oath of office. Soludo came into the inauguration venue in the company of his wife, Mrs Nonye, while his Deputy, Dr Onyeka Ibezim also arrived with his wife.
His Deputy, Dr Onyeka Ibezim, had earlier been sworn in by the Chief Justice of the State.
It was while Soludo was being sworn in that the altercation between Obiano’s wife and the widow of Dim Odumegu Ojukwu took place which almost brought the event to an abrupt end.
Obiano and his wife however left the venue of the inauguration immediately after the fight.
