Election Tribunal Dismisses Application For Live Broadcast
The Presidential Election Petition Court has dismissed the application by the Peoples Democratic Party and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar to allow for live telecast of the court proceedings.
The Court in a ruling Monday dismissed the application which was filed by Atiku before the candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, later filed similar application.
The Court said that it would not allow live transmission of its proceedings by Television stations in the country.
