Diaspora Group Expresses Confidence In Tinubu
Alluding to the laudable achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Governor of Lagos State, a group of technocrats in the diaspora has expressed their confidence in his ability to deliver on his renewed hope mandate to Nigerians.
The group, Diaspora Solution Group of Nigeria (DSGN), based in the United States of America (USA) at a zoom media parley in Osogbo at the weekend expressed their commitment to collaborate with Nigerian government to make positive impact on the country.
While congratulating President Tinubu on his successful inauguration as the President of Nigeria, the president of DSGN, Gideon Sona Oyeleke said, as a non-profit making organisation, they would want to dignify their intention to synergies with the new dispensation to bring forth the best qualities of the organisation.
“We believe His Excellency possesses the required skills, resources, and acumen to govern our diverse and richly comprehensive country. In the same vein, we affirm that the Diaspora Solution Group, with our resources here in the USA and beyond can effectively collaborate with the new administration to bring about positive and uplifting change in Nigeria.
Also speaking, a Surgeon, Dr. Manny Emenike who noted that for the first time, Nigeria has a leader with records of performance, called on Nigerians at home and in the diaspora to support the administration to enable it deliver dividends of democracy to the citizenry.
His words: “Though we don’t have the capacity to solve every problem of Nigeria, our concern is how to impact on Nigeria in our various capacities as experts. We are committed to attracting investors, aids in terms of grants for medical research and facilities among others”
In the same vein, the spokesperson of DSGN, Edwin I. Aimufua said the group intend to focus their efforts on empowering the youths of Nigeria by providing them with hope and tangible opportunities for advancement and capacity building, more importantly in the burgeoning landscape of artificial intelligence.
“We are proud to align our mission with His Excellency’s vision. Witnessing his objectives become a reality during his tenure as Governor of Lagos State, we have no doubt that he will succeed as President. We are fully committed to co-creating his envisioned reality of a revitalised for all Nigerians” Aimufua posited.
