Ojulari Bags Vanguard Newspaper’s Energy Innovation Award
Group Chief Executive Officer of NNPC Limited, Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, has bagged the Vanguard Newspapers’ 2025 Energy Innovation and Reform Icon of the Year Award.
The award, which celebrates Nigerians making notable impacts across various fields, was received on his behalf by the company’s Executive Vice President, Business Services, Sophia Mbakwe, in Lagos, on Friday.
Mbakwe received the prestigious award from the CEO of Standard Chartered Bank in Nigeria, Ayodeji Adelagun. She was accompanied by the Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Andy Odeh, at the ceremony.
According to Vanguard Media Limited, the recognition stems from Ojulari’s giant strides at NNPC Ltd., particularly in strategic reforms, operational growth, corporate governance, and value-driven innovation; achievements that are reshaping the nation’s energy future.
