Osun 2022: Ogunbiyi Congratulates Adeleke
Candidate of the Accord Party (AP) in the just concluded Osun governorship election, Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi has congratulated the governor-elect, Senator Nurudeen Jackson Ademola Adeleke for his victory at the polls.
A statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen in Osogbo on Friday stated that Ogunbiyi saluted the courage of his fellow contenders at the polls for their individual activities displayed towards the service of the people of the state.
He further extended his gratitude to various individuals, traditional rulers, religious organizations, public and private workers, agencies of government, media outfits, students, market women, artisans, various tribes residents in Osun.
“I also earnestly thank my various dependable party loyalists and of special mention is my very loyal running mate, Alhaji Kunle Jimoh, the State Party Chairman, Pastor Victor Akande and other party stakeholders at state and local government levels and our ad-hoc staff, the Director-General and various sub-head units who assiduously worked days and nights during the build-up to the election and during the election day. You have all done wonderfully well.
“I thank all the electorates, I cannot thank you enough for the maturity displayed both before the election and during the election day which was devoid of lawlessness, destructiveness and ensure peaceful conduct of the election by the INEC”.
Ogunbiyi who affirmed his membership of Accord Party and pledged his commitment to contribute his quota to the growth of Osun State and Nigeria as a whole.
