AMACOG: A Mainframe Of Our Body Just Collapsed
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the members of the AMACOG ’92 Set announce the sudden passing of our dear friend, brother, distinguished member, and Welfare Executive, Dotun Oladipo.
Dotun was not the Welfare Executive merely by title or nomenclature. He embodied the very essence of the role. The Almighty God blessed him with a heart for service, compassion for others, and an unwavering commitment to the welfare and progress of those around him.
It is an understatement to say that we were deeply grieved and devastated by the news of his passing. Dotun was a valued, respected, and truly irreplaceable member of the AMACOG ’92 Set. His presence enriched our association, and his contributions will remain indelible in our collective memory.
Beyond his professional dedication and the immense contributions he made to the field of journalism through The Eagle Online, Dotun brought to AMACOG a rare combination of warmth, kindness, energy, and enthusiasm. He was a mobiliser, a motivator, a catalyst for positive action, and someone who was always ready to ignite passion, inspire progress, and contribute meaningfully to the development of our association.
Dotun had a remarkable ability to bring people together and encourage everyone to give their best. His infectious energy, generosity of spirit, dedication, and genuine concern for others made him a special person to us all. His absence has left a profound void that will be difficult to fill.
His warmth, commitment, friendship, and presence will be greatly missed by every member of the AMACOG family and by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
At this difficult and painful moment of grief, our thoughts and prayers are with his family especially Taiwo Oladipo, his wife, his three beautiful daughters amd the aged mother he left behind. Please note that you are not alone as we share in your sorrow and extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to you and the entire family.
May the cherished memories of the beautiful life you shared with Dotun bring you comfort and strength. May the love and support of family, friends, and the AMACOG community sustain you through this difficult season. We mourn with you, and we stand with you in prayer.
Our consolation is in the hope that Dotun has gone to be with the Saints and that his life of service and humanity will be remembered with gratitude and honour.
