EPL: Liverpool Extend Goal Keeper Becker’s Deal To June 2027
Alisson Becker will remain at Liverpool F.C. until June 2027 after the club triggered the one-year option included in his current contract.
The Brazilian goalkeeper’s previous deal at Anfield was due to expire in the summer of 2026, but Liverpool have now activated the extension clause to secure his services for an additional season.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano on X on Saturday, “Alisson’s contract at Liverpool has been extended until June 2027 by triggering the option included into the current deal.”
Alisson, who joined Liverpool from AS Roma in 2018, has been a key figure for the club since his arrival.
The 33-year-old has established himself as one of the top goalkeepers in world football and has played an important role in Liverpool’s success over recent years.
During his time at the club, Alisson has helped Liverpool win several major honours, including the Premier League title and the UEFA Champions League.
By activating the clause in his contract, Liverpool ensure stability in the goalkeeping position while maintaining the long-term presence of one of their most experienced players.
