Chelsea Offer £48m Plus Matic For Bonucci
Leonardo Bonucci’s move to Chelsea could be on this summer, with Nemanja Matic going the other way.
Bonucci is valued at £60million, but the Serie A champions are keen on Chelsea midfielder Matic — so the Blues are ready to make a bid of £48m and offer the Serbian on top.
This is the latest in a long line of bust-ups between the pair.
The former AC Milan boss has agreed a contract extension at the Juventus Stadium until 2019 amid interest from Arsenal.
And it is understood he has demanded the sale of Bonucci, as he believes this summer is their last chance to cash in on the 30-year-old. Allegri is a huge fan of Matic and would welcome the exchange.
The Serbian midfielder joined Chelsea in 2009 and was included in the deal which saw them sign David Luiz from Benfica in January 2011.
However, his impressive performances in Portugal saw Jose Mourinho bring him back to Stamford Bridge in 2014 — and the now Manchester United manager is still a keen admirer.
