Cleric Identifies Panacea To Nigeria Problems
While Nigerians are searching for good leaders that would assuage their suffering, a minister of God has rather urged them to pray for fathers that would lay down everything for them.
A USA based cleric, Apostle Mathew Oluwajoba, General Overseer, Christ United Ministries International and President, City Changers International while speaking with newsmen in Osogbo during an empowerment programme for hundreds of indigents in Osun charged Christians to participate actively in politics.
His words: “A father will suffer and take everything including pains and bullet for his children. Leader will just put followers on the line. Example is biblical Moses and Joshua”
He expressed shock at the attitude of Nigerians to obedience to the law of the land adding that the law is no respecter of anybody and therefore must be respected by all and sundry.
Above all Apostle Olujoba asked Nigerians to go back to God because the rate at which human blood is being shed is agonizing God saying that while God loves Nigeria and endowed her with bountiful resources, we kept on making God sad by our waywardness.
He maintained that we cannot leave the wellbeing of every Nigerians to government adding that religious organizations, NGOs, philanthropists have roles to play in helping those in need.
He noted that beside empowering hundreds of the indigents through training and sponsoring the setting up of those trained, people would go home with food stuff at the end of the exercise.
“We need to support people, people are suffering and it is not only government that should help the society, individuals and churches can also do that.
“Our church wants to support people especially small scale businesses by making people understand how they can function well by staying independent to achieve their goals”, the cleric posited.
