A 35-year-old man, Abdullahi Lawal was on Tuesday remanded by a Magistrate’s Court sitting in Ado- Ekiti , for allegedly killing his woman friend’s lover.

Lawal, was charged with murder of one Olaoluwa Fayomi, 50, whom he believed was having a love affair with his supposed woman friend.

The police prosecutor, Oriyomi Akinwale, an Inspector of police told the court that the accused person committed the offence on April 24 in Ado-Ekiti within the magisterial district.

The accused and deceased, according to the prosecutor, were dating a woman and the woman later told the defendant that she is no more interested in the relationship.
