Woman Allegedly Beats 43 yr Old Woman To Death In Ebonyi

A woman named Ifunanya Anyikwa has allegedly beaten a 43 year old woman, Ifeoma Nwankwo to death.
The incident occurred at Nkaliki, the state capital.
The report said that the alleged deceased and the suspect had a misunderstanding after which Ifunanya attacked Ifeoma who was later rushed to the Alex Ekwueme Federal University Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki(AE-FUETHA) where she was confirmed dead by Doctors on duty.
It was the husband of the deceased who received a phone call over the incident that reported the matter to the police who arrested the suspect.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Loveth Odah, confirmed the incident
She said “the husband of the woman said that on the 23rd July around 7:30, he was at Nkaliki when he received a phone call that a woman later identified as Ifunanya Anyikwa, came to his wife and beat up his wife, one Ifeoma Nwankwo aged 43 to death over a mere misunderstanding.
“The husband of the deceased said that he quickly went home and saw his wife unconscious, he rushed the woman to FETHA where he was later confirmed dead by a medical doctor on duty and the body of the woman has been deposited at the same hospital mortuary for autopsy”.
