War Of Words In Ekiti Over Ministerial Slot (Part 1)

Desperation is the next of kin of a failed man who never for once appreciate those who assisted him to the top. This is the typical nature of Dr John Kayode Fayemi, the former Governor of Ekiti State. It’s laughable seeing a man who had on several occasions in the past frustrated the ambition of the President Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the blink of an eye pretend to be the most loyal.
Needless should the Former Governor forget that history is quietly seated giving comprehensive details about individual’s activities. It therefore becomes imperative that the Former Minister needs to be reminded about his betrayal antecedence so as not to play the game of a blind fool in the kingdom of the wise.
The scripture is complete as it has its own book, chapter and verse in the despicable attitude of Dr John Kayode Fayemi “1 Corinthians 1:18(a) For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing” and just like the Yoruba adage “the dog that will get lost will not hear the whistle of the hunter”. Every attempt to pacify the attitude of the former Governor to embrace a united family in the SouthWest fell on his deaf ears as he assumed the role of a lord and dictator of the game in the North, South, West and East when he was the Chairman, Nigerian Governor’s Forum.
The formation of the movement for BAT Presidential ambition was met with stiff opposition from Dr. John Kayode Fayemi and the “CABAL” who saw it as a threat to install the party candidate and the successor of President Buhari, they came up with a rival group called THE NIGERIA AGENDA.
One main primary purpose of the acclaimed Nigeria Agenda was to ensure BAT Presidential ambition never saw the light of the day. Today, we need to ask the former Governor where “THE NIGERIA AGENDA” he formed and financed from the state Treasury is.
Should Fayemi be reminded about the role he played in the formation of the acclaimed “CABAL” with the late Abba Kyari in the President Muhammadu Buhari’s government and how the cabals frustrated all party leaders from the grassroot to the National level in each of the 36 States of the Federation who were loyal to the President Elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu? Without doubt, Kayode Fayemi at this crucial period needs to tell the party hierarchy and loyalists why he should be trusted in his foolishness in what transpired in Edo State where he mobilized all human and financial resources against the candidate of the party and a loyal follower of BAT, Pastor Ize Iyamu, so as to give a leverage to an opposition party in the state.
The workings of man is known by God but the workings and ways of God is unknown to the son of Men. This is a philosophy the former Governor have not memorized. If Men were to take the infinitesimal powers of the Supreme Being, needless should we doubt what Dr John Kayode Fayemi can do and how he will orchestrate such without remorse or recourse to hierarchy.
Of a truth, should we sweep under the carpet, the history book of how Dr John Kayode Fayemi in one of his interviews said the party APC may collapse after President Buhari’s administration? That same party produced the President -elect at the Primaries in June 2022 and delivered in February 2023.
The foolishness of men becomes known when he is left alone to glorify in his foolishness by his kinsmen when he assumes to be wise.
During the Presidential primaries of the APC, the loosed tongue of the Former Governor that the President-elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was no longer popular, was too old and sick, and that a kingmaker should never be a king were the major strengths of the oppositions in the Presidential election.
The unguided utterance of the Former Governor before the primary election nearly cost the party the needed victory in the concluded election.
It becomes a unique characteristics when the foolish tries to repackage the foolishness in his wisdom, this is the trait of Dr John Kayode Fayemi who is seen at every function of the president-elect even when he is not recognized and cannot boldly associate with his contemporaries within the party structure both at state and national level.
It’ is unacceptable if Dr John Kayode Fayemi will believe we have easily forgotten how he muted the idea of a consensus candidate in the wake of the Party’s Presidential Primaries. At a point when he knew he was not popular, he lobbied the slot to be Vice Presidential candidate to a northern Presidential candidate, with the assurance that he is the face of the party in the South. We have not forgotten and we will not forget easily how the selfishness of an individual almost cost the entire Southern part of the country the Presidential ticket of the party.
One good thing about Fayemi is the fact that he is a self acclaimed strategist who map work his activities perfectly without a trace.
Accolades must be given to Dr John Kayode Fayemi who was planted as a mole by the cabal to monitor and give feedbacks on the plans and strategies of the President- elect prior to the run of the Presidential election.
On authoritative ground, there is a need for Dr John Kayode Fayemi to deny with evidence that he did not have meetings and agreement with the candidate of the PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar outside Nigeria and we will tell him with evidence how he instructed his foot soldiers to work against the APC candidate at the Presidential election.
An opportunist does not appreciate the sacrifice of others, he sees himself as the best among others. Such is the personality and trait of a betrayer who ignores the counsel of his kinsmen. At no point can the Dr John Kayode Fayemi be trusted as he has not gone through the disciple class of a pure Democrat and a party faithful.
The former Governor cannot and should not be allowed anywhere close to the President-elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu lest he starts another devilish mission to truncate the peace now to be enjoyed in the party towards economic revamp and growth sustainability.
The former Governor is a Virus and until there is an anti virus to subdue his foolishness in the kingdom of the wise, he needs to be kept in isolation.
