EPL: Liverpool Unveil Squad Numbers
Liverpool have confirmed their squad numbers for the new season, with several changes following recent departures.
A Friday statement on the club’s website, titled, “Liverpool’s squad numbers for the 2025-26 season have been confirmed,” revealed this.
It read, “The seven arrivals to the club this summer have selected their numbers, while Conor Bradley and Trey Nyoni have opted to change.
“Florian Wirtz has taken the No.7 shirt, made vacant by the departure of Luis Diaz to Bayern Munich on Wednesday.
“Milos Kerkez is the Reds’ new No.6 and Jeremie Frimpong has chosen No.30, the number he had at his previous club Bayer Leverkusen. Hugo Ekitike will wear the No.22 jersey.
“In the goalkeeping department, Giorgi Mamardashvili is No.25, Freddie Woodman is No.28 and Armin Pecsi is No.41.
“Meanwhile, Bradley has switched from No.84 to No.12 and Nyoni from No.98 to No.42.”
