EFCC Arrests Former House Of Reps Speaker Over Alleged Contract Fraud
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arrested former speaker of the House of Representatives, Patricia Etteh.
Etteh, who is presently being grilled by EFCC’s special duties unit was alleged to be involved in a solar power electrification scam in Akwa Ibom State.
Sources said that the former speaker was picked up Tuesday over contract scam in Akwa Ibom and was still with the Commission investigators as at the time of filing this report.
Etteh, from Osun was elected speaker of the lower house during the reign of former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
