Fayose Sacks 2 Board Chairmen
Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose, on Wednesday sacked Chief Gabriel Falayi as the board chairman of the Ekiti State Teaching Service Commission.
Also removed from office is the Chairman, Governing Council of the College of Education, Ikere-Ekiti, Professor Babajide Alo.
Their removal, according to a statement signed by the Secretary to Ekiti State Government, Modupe Alade, on Wednesday takes immediate effect.
Consequently , Chief Femi Ogundipe has been appointed as chairman of the Ekiti State Teaching Service Commission, Mrs. Adeola Yesufu as chairman of Governing Council, College of Education, Ikere Ekiti, while Hon. Folasade Akinrinmola was appointed as full time member of the state universal Education, Board(SUBEB).
Mrs Alade who announced this, in a statement made available to newsmen, said the governor’s decision was based on the need to re-organise government parastatals for effective service delivery.
