He was a self-made man of many parts that started a working career at G. B. Ollivant(GBO) in 1966 followed by a 2-year stint at the Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN) before leaving for Greece in 1969 to complete his academic studies.
He retired from from Arbico Plc as an Executive Director in 2009, after 36 years of selfless meritorious service to the company.
He was a philanthropist emeritus with an amazing retinue of ‘babas’ like Alh. Umaru, Dayo Alabi, Kester Ifeadi, Kemi Oni, Mike Itegboje, Kenneth Lawani, Moses Wey and a host of other captains in their professional fields whom he led and nurtured in various capacities.
He slept peacefully in the Lord on Saturday June 24th 2017, survived by a loving wife and 5 children. His remains will be laid to rest in his hometown on July 29th 2017. May his soul rest well with the Lord.
