Insecurity: DSS Boss Briefs Tinubu

Adeola Ajayi, the director-general of the Department of State Services, DSS, met with President Bola Tinubu on Friday night for update on insecurity across the country.

According to Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, the meeting held at the Presidential Villa.

Onanuga posted a picture from the meeting on his X (Twitter) handle, and wrote: “The Director General of the Department of State Services, DSS, Mr. Tosin Adeola Ajayi briefing President Bola Tinubu on the security situation on Friday night.”

Schools shut

Meanwhile, with the latest wave of abductions seemingly targeted at schools, authorities approved the closure of schools until further notice.

Yesterday, due to the resurgence in the abduction of students in schools in some parts of the country, the Federal Government ordered the closure of 41 unity colleges with immediate effect.
