Lady Battered By  Neighbour Demand Justice
A woman identified as Mrs. Nkechi Aniaya who was battered by his neighbour, Mr. Ola Olamummi Shobo has cried out for justice.
Speaking with newsmen in Lagos yesterday at her residence, 72 Durojaiye Street Surulere, she said his neighbour made attempt to murder her after battering her body, sprayed petrol and ignited fire because he wants the gate of their house to remain open all night.
“Other neighbours and i escaped death by the whiskers. But for inexplicable reasons, Mr. Sbobo, a chronic night crawler has formed the habit of barging into our premises at odd hours of the night.
“He disturbs the entire neighbourhood even though it was agreed that the gate at the back of the houses should be locked by 10pm because of security challenges”, she said.
Aniaya further told our reporter that all efforts to persuade Mr. Shobo to enter his mother’s residence at night through their front door had in the past  been treated with contempt.
She recalled that few years ago, his neighour requested to use a space in their premises to keep his ram while carrying out minor repairs in his mother’s house which i did.
Her words: “he turned the space given to him to a mini-zoo and started to argue that all land belong to government. In the process of telling him to remove his rams from the premises, he turned violent and beat me to stupor.
She therefore appealed to all relevant Lagos State Government agencies to wade into the matter as a matter of urgency to curb such violence.
All efforts to speak with Mr. Shobo who lived at 76 Durojaiye street Lagos Island proved abortive as of the time of filling this story.
