OFFER TO SERVE FOR QUALITY REPRESENTATION. AND WELFARISM
I hereby offer myself to serve humanity to ensure Quality Representation and reinforce Credible Performances at Lagos State House of Assembly. I felt there is need to inject new ideas and change the narrative in Legislative business, as an important Arm of Government. This serve as my primary motivation to Voluntarily offer myself for Service, and seek your Collaboration.
In 2001, l contested for Councillorship Party Primary in Ward C, Orile Agege; and in 2007, l stepped down for the then Member of Lagos State House Of Assembly under involuntary Consensus arrangement. But unfortunately, in 2011 which supposed to be my time as previously agreed, it was another different ball game. Some Aspirants left our great Party, but as a core Progressive, l remained faithful and loyal to Party Supremacy.
It is my pertinent to recall here my involvement in the Political struggle from UPN, to SDP, DPN, AD, AC, ACN,and APC. My arrest and deprivation during June 12 debacles and NADECO still lingers in my memory. As a Democrat, and founding prominent member of APC, I tolerated so many things in order to achieve today. Indeed, l am happy that some of my Students or Mentees are currently serving in Agege and Orile Agege as Councillors. As a matter of fact, one of them is a Leader of the House.
Please, l need your concern and Support to become Honourable Member, Lagos State House Of Assembly, from Constituency 02, Agege Federal Constituency. This will provide Opportunity for me to change the narrative, so that AGEGE MAY EXCEL GLOBALLY.
I achieved greater feat as the then Member of Mushin Local Government Transition Committee, when my Scholarship and Business Empowerment Programs adjudged the best by the Masses in 2002. I was opportuned to place Education in Agege on Global map. Our Success Story is feasible, even to the blind. Because we dominated Lagos State for good 10 years, with State and National Awards, including International laurels and Commendation. My name became a Recurring Decimal in Sustainable Basic Education which attracted US Based Performance Facts to Nigeria. As a matter of fact, UK Based Education Sector Support In Nigeria (ESSPIN) certified me as Overall Best Education Secretary in Nigeria, followed by highly referred, Hon Tolani Sule from Ojo LGEA, now a Member of LASU Governing Council, and highly respected Hon. Taiwo Oduloye from Ikorodu LGEA, now a Consultant.
I must Appreciate the then Lagos State Governor, His Excellency, Mr Babatunde Raji Fashola, who approved my Submission, and sent me to United Kingdom as an Ambassador of School Traffic Safety Advocacy Program. As a Fellow, Counseling Association Of Nigeria, the then Governor of Lagos State, Gen. Buba Marwa, gave me opportunity to serve as Rehabilitation Counsellor in the Lagos State Task Force on Environmental Sanitation and Special Offences. My Excellent Performances contributed so much to my Career Breakthrough in Abnormal Psychology.
My Achievement as Education Secretary is Overwhelming in the history of Lagos State and Nigeria, to the extent that Universal Basic Education Commission, under Alhaji Boboye, confirmed to Lagos State Government that they have not seen my type of Education Secretay in Nigeria
Please my Open Declaration and Unfolding of AKUNLEYAN 2023 has been scheduled for this week within Orile Agege by the grace of Almighty God, and l need your prayer, and other connected assistance, that may be at your disposal. Please, kindly engage our Stakeholders and Mobilise for me within and outside Agege.
Once again, l am assuring you all Quality Representation and Welfare Oriented Programs. By available records, l have impacted so many Pupils, Students and Masses. I personally assisted many people on Career elevation and welfare through my office and area of influence. I am happy that lam within the First 5 Personality that introduced Scholarships in the then Agege and Ifako/Ijaiye Local Governments.
Meanwhile, l am using this medium to Specially acknowledge my Destiny Helpers that have been assisting me Physically, Prayerfully and Financially. As a matter of fact, their Continuous Support refuel my lifelong Aspiration.
As my Consultation Continues, l am assuring you of my determination to serve humanity better, because What l desire each day is to serve humanity in whatever capacity l can, and in whichever Circumstances l find myself. Lord grant me enough strength to do this and even more.
Conclusively, l am using this opportunity to Appreciate enormous contribution of our current Representatives, Rt. Hon. Mudashir Ajayi Obasa and Hon. Oluyinka Ogundimu in Legislative business at the State House of Assembly. May God Almighty Continue to protect them and their families. Both of them are my Friends and Brothers who can confirm my Intellectual dexterity, Creativity and inherent Leadership Potentials.
