INEC Receives Petition Seeking Natasha’s Recall
The Independent National Electoral Commission has received the petition seeking the recall process of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan as Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The Secretary to the commission, Rose Oriaran-Anthony, received the petition on Monday.
Some members of the PDP in Kogi began collecting signatories last week for the recall of the embattled senator.
While some of the voters in the constituents told news men that they were told to come for an empowerment programme and that they were not told that it would be for the recall of Natasha.
The senator has also obtained a court injunction to stop the recall process.
