NDE Empowers 26 Graduates On Environmental Beautification In Osun
No fewer than twenty-six (26) graduates have been empowered on environmental beautification in a training programme organised by the National Directorate
of Employment (NDE) in Osogbo, Osun State capital.
The event that witnessed the disbursement of packaged starting equipment and take off loans to beneficiaries was witnessed by Mrs Bimbo Olorunponmi and Mrs Roseline Silvia Olaomi, Special Public Work (SPW) representative and the Representative of the Director SPW, from the national headquarters respectively.
Speaking on Friday at the programme anchored by the department of Special Public work (SPW), the Director General, Mallam Abubakar Nuhu Fikpo charged beneficiaries to make the best use of the training acquired during the exercise.
Mallam Fikpo who was represented by Mr Fakunke Julius, NDE Osun State coordinator, appreciated the Federal Government for the empowerment package and their consistent open arms towards NDE programmes.
The training programme with the theme: “Empowerment of graduates of Environmental Beautification Training Scheme (EBTS) was subdivided into soft, hard and landscaping with POP.
In their good will messages, Mrs Bimbo Olorunponmi and Mrs Roseline Silvia Olaomi urged beneficiaries to make judicious use of the soft loans disbursed to them.
They reminded them that the loan is payable in due course adding that the National Directorate of Employment will not relent in their efforts to continue to empower, youths, women and the less privileged in its bid to ensure better life for Nigerians.
