Nigeria Secures $7.6bn Investment Commitments At Africa Forum
Nigeria attracted $7.6 billion in investment commitments at the 2024 Africa Investment Forum held in Rabat, Morocco, from December 4-6, according to African Development Bank (AfDB) President Akinwumi Adesina.
In a weekend statement shared on his X platform, Adesina, a former Nigerian agriculture minister, expressed optimism about the forum’s positive impact on Nigeria’s economy.
I am delighted the Africa Investment Forum 2024 mobilized $7.6 billion of investment interest for Nigeria. It was great to have several State Governors: Lagos, Kaduna, Kastina, Kwara and Plateau, and (later) Ogun. We will keep working to support & boost investments to Nigeria. pic.twitter.com/NzfONsXraR
