Obanikoro’s Mother Dies At 95
The mother of former Minister of State Defence, Senator Musliu Obanikoro, Alhaja Wasilat Obanikoro died in the early hours of Saturday in Lagos after a brief illness at the age of 95.
Obanikoro who disclosed his mother’s death on his twitter handle at early hour of Saturday said her death is saddening, saying ” but I and my siblings are consoled that it was peaceful, in her own bed and also in the Holy Month of Ramadan.
“She will be buried this afternoon at Ikoyi Cemetery by 2pm after prayers at her residence in Barnabas Gemade Estate, Lagos Island.
“May we and all those bereaved in this period, find fortitude to bear our losses and may the departed rest in peace”, he said.
