Olojo Festival: We Must Celebrate Our Culture- Buhari

The Minister of Health, Prof Isaac Adewole is among the thousands of people who converged on the ancient city of Ile-Ife Saturday for the annual celebration of Olojo festival.

Professor Adewole who represented President Muhammadu Buhari at the colourful event said that it was time for Nigerians to respect and celebrate our culture.
Adewole while speaking with newsmen shortly after the programme said that President Buhari expresses joy at the celebration and extended warm wishes to the Onirisha, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi on the celebration.
The Ooni of Ile-Ife Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi who had last Sunday entered seclusion was in the midst of his subjects and tourists who came from within and outside the country for the celebration.
Ooni Ogunwusi would later adorned the sacred Are Crown which is worn yearly at the time of the celebration and pray for his people.
The Governor of Osun State Rauf Aregbesola is represented by his Special Adviser on Tourism and Culture Taiwo Olubadan.
