Oyetola Lauds Ex-CDS, Petinrin For Support
Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, has commended ex Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal, Oluseyi Petinrin (retd), for supporting his administration.
Governor Oyetola, who spoke on Saturday at the annual Ipetu Ijesa day celebration, also commended the community for their cooperation with the government.
Oyetola, who was represented at the event by his Special Adviser on Public Health, Dr. Siji Olamiju, said work was progressing on projects initiated by the administration within the Ipetu Ijesa community and assured to execute more life changing projects for the benefit of the residents.
He said, “elite in this community have been good ambassadors, especially Air Chief Marshal Oluseyi Petinrin (retd) and others, who have been playing a big role to ensure development.
“We sincerely appreciate your support in all spheres and we also thank you, Kabiesi for the support for this government. You have been consistently pushing for the development of this community.
“Development in all sphere is a major programme of the present administration and you share our vision in that aspect.”
Speaking earlier, the Ajalaye of Ipetu Ijesa, Oba Adeleke Agunbiade Oke, appealed to the governor to repair roads that were in deplorable condition in the area.
