Rivers Assembly Halts Impeachment Proceedings Against Fubara
The Rivers State House of Assembly has halted the impeachment proceedings against Governor Siminalayi Fubara and the Deputy Governor, Ngozi Odu, following President Bola Tinubu’s intervention.
President Tinubu few days back hosted Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike and Fubara to another round of peace talk inside Aso Rock Villa Abuja.
At the end of the meeting both Wike and Fubara left the Villa in Wike’s official car for his house where Fubara was said to have apologised to Wike with a promise to ensure that peace prevail in the state.
